This might be the best stadium to host one of these events. Pregame ceremonies were just fantastic.

There was an article on them in the local Toronto paper in that the blue on mostly white uni is to honour the naval flag on Canadian ships. First time ever the Maple Leafs have worn such a uniform.

I think they look great and if it honors their Navy even better. I suppose it makes sense considering where the game is being played.

I love the outdoor arena, but the lighting looks down-right weird.

I am not sure but I think these uniforms are a one time thing for this game only but who knows maybe if enough like them they may be used again. The article I mentioned said some players said they found them very cool. They had practiced in them to get used to them for this game.

I noticed that to. The lighting is not as spread out like it is in other stadiums.

All of the teams have a special uniforms for these games. It is a one off.

I guess it’s just the camera position, but that rink looks smaller than normal, especially the width.
