MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A Facebook post is going viral in Memphis, but the people featured in it likely wish it wasn’t.
The post, which has been shared more than 339,000 times, reads as follows:
I don’t understand how can someone do this. Poor waiter was just doing their job and to have someone take it without reason. She left $20 tip to only have someone else take it.
It features two videos.
In the first video, you see two women getting ready to leave Casa Mexicana on Hacks Cross. One of them places money on the table – a tip for the waiter – and they walk away.
Once they leave, a woman in the neighboring booth points to the table with the money. She looks over her shoulder and around the restaurant and talks to the man she’s sitting with.
Eventually, she gets up and takes the money off the table. After hurrying back to her booth, the woman stuffs the money in her shirt and the couple continues looking around.

We always leave a cash tip and I am always a little worried that someone will take it. I usually will put it in the sleeve with the bill. And sometimes call the waiter/waitress attention to it, if it is on the table.
I’m right again. My batting average on these videos is 100%. Ok kids, you know the demographic of the effing thieves..;)

The reason I never leave a cash tip.
Well, I always leave a cash tip and do the same: call or nod to the waiter that I/we are leaving and there is money on the table.
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PART (after being a waiter and bartender in college): NEVER LEAVE MONEY WHEN THERE ARE obama kids AROUND. Yes, I said it and seen it multiple times. They STEAL money.
Poor George. He just wanted credit for his tip!!
If whoever isn’t immediately around, I leave tips in the thing the bill is in.
I tuck the cash inside and put the whole thing kind of far back on the table where possible.
Or just not leave it on the table in plain sight.
I have had more than one person who served food at a restaurant tell me that the worst tippers in the world are members of a certain gender...and a certain race.
I hope they catch the thief. Notice also its boyfriend doesn’t seem to have any moral values either, and clearly approves of the creature’s theft.
I would NEVER have left cash there———no one around
to spot the theft.

Yes, when you’re always a victim it’s hard to be generous.
And people who are (generally) known to run out on their bill complain if they have to pay up front...too bad. Get your compatriots to shape up.
They are without a doubt the worst tippers and I have had black servers themselves tell me that. In addition to that they are extremely high maintenance often returning things for little or no reason at all
And this particular video they were scoping out that table the whole time. It looked like the entire reason they came into that restaurant because it appears they left without ordering anything after eating a few free chips and stealing $20. Low lifes
