While students and activists geared up to march in Washington, D.C., and across the country in support of new restrictions on the Second Amendment, rapper Killer Mike warned that gun control is way the progressive left can return black Americans to slavery. In an interview with NRATV’s Colion Noir, Killer Mike explained how the left equates gun control with progress and observed, “[They are] going to progress us into slavery.”
In the lead-up to the March 14 school walk out for gun control, Killer Mike said he told his kids, “I love you, but if you walk out that school walk out my house.”
“You can’t continue to be the lackey,” the Atlanta-based rapper and business owner said. “You’re a lackey of the progressive movement because you have never disagreed with the people who tell you what to do.”
Noir pointed out how celebrities like George Clooney and Steven Spielberg pledged $500,000 to Saturday’s gun control march.
“Celebrities often don’t know what to do. They’re told what to do,” Killer Mike said, explaining how a famous rapper, who’s a friend of his, felt pressured into doing an anti-gun promo. Killer Mike told his friend that he’s very pro-Second Amendment” and that it is about the children for him — after a shooting on his daughter’s college campus (Savannah State University); “I talked to my wife and daughter after that, the decision was we’re going to go to Savannah, she’s going to get a gun and train more.”

Regardless of your politics, I think most Americans understand the value and necessity of a strong Second Amendment. There are notable exceptions like these useful idiot kids running around demanding “action,” but despite the media’s slavering, they are simply a vocal minority.

What Killer Mike doesn’t get is that gun grabbing leftists do not give a care in this world about blacks and the carnage that out of control gun violence has caused regarding black on black murders.
No Sir. To even think about the death rates in Chicago on a typical weekend would be racist. So gun grabbers never say a mumbling word about gun control in the ghettoes.
No Sir. All they are concerned about is taking away our Second Amendment rights and taking guns away from white law abiding citizens.

One would hope that a rapper with the name of “Killer Mike” would be against gun control. I don’t see how you maintain your street cred if you’re running around like a pansy telling everyone to let the police protect them and to turn into passive sheep who play no part in their own defense.

I saw a blurb this morning that the rapper has already apologized for the remarks.
Rapper/Actor Ice-T is also remarkably pro gun. He says he will give up his gun when everybody else gives up theirs, including the government.

Kudos to your post comments. If the leftards truly cared about gun violence perpetrated upon black people they should be marching on Chicago or other DemRat mecca’s for this cause. NRA and responsible gun owners have virtually nothing to do with violent criminals getting guns.
How does it help a member of a minority group in society to disarm? Given what has happened to blacks and other minorities in this country, and other groups in other countries, why would I recommend they disarm and just trust a majority?
