Russia's most ambitious energy project since the fall of the Soviet Union - the Power of Siberia - will be its first gas pipeline to head east, opening up a Chinese market worth $400bn amid souring relations with the west. The FT's Henry Foy reports.

This would happen regardless of any political issues. Russia has an unlimited supply of gas, China last year became the world’s largest energy importer, and they share a long border.
This business transaction was going to happen anyway.
This is not unusual.
The Russian Jewish oligarchs have been working with the Israeli Jewish oligarchs since Israel discovered the Leviathan gas fields in the Mediterranean Sea back in 2011. Of course these businessmen will set up pipelines to a paying customer in China. It’s business.
