Skip to comments. The Conspiracy Theory That Says Trump Is a Genius

Last week Roseanne Barr who, with the hit reboot of her show, has become one of the most prominent Donald Trump supporters in the country tweeted that the president has freed hundreds of children a month from sexual bondage. He has broken up trafficking rings in high places everywhere, she wrote. (The tweet has since been deleted.)
Barrs tweet, puzzling to the casual observer, was a reference to QAnon, an expansive, complicated pro-Trump conspiracy theory. The theory is fascinating as an artifact of our current political derangement, but more than that, its profoundly revealing about the lengths to which some Trump supporters will go to convince themselves that his presidency is going well.
QAnon points out that this is the beginning of the end for the Clintons, said Jerome Corsi a prominent proponent of the lie that Obama was born in Kenya on a YouTube broadcast in January. He warned that the world would be forced to contend with films of innocent children pleading for their lives while people are butchering them. Once that happens, presumably, Trump will be revealed as a master of 12-dimensional chess who successfully distracted smirking elites with his buffoonery while he was quietly saving the world.

Q in the NYT?
Fantastic. I think Bogart said there’s no such thing as bad publicity, just spell my name right. Q is easy to spell. And now more people know about the concept.
Nervous much NYT ?
Not gonna click on NYT link....
At first I didn’t think Trump was all that bright, but I do now. It’s a little different kind of smart, not all science and math which most of us think of. He’s got a huge dose of common sense which has been sorely lacking in government for decades. He also has courage. Another trait that’s been lacking.
I strongly believe that he has God on his side helping him. And all the white hats. And all of us conservatives here on FR.
Something struck a nerve thats gottum squealin
Yeah it must be a conspiracy theory if it is pro-Trump, right?
Their MINDS are going to be BLOWN when learn about the depths of this human trafficking scandal, with Hillary Clinton’s fingerprints all over it...
Bias dIscredits everything published in the NYT. How could you if it ever spoke truth? Total waste of ink and bandwidth.
Know thy enemy.
Whatever the times says—think the opposite.
I’ve wondered if Q posts are so cleverly written that liberals are unable to understand them. This article adds evidence to that line of thinking.
nyt already knows
Obama being born in Kenya may or may not be true, but Obama himself was the one who made this claim.
Trump is obviously a genius.
Obama put out he was born in Kenya for the same reason Elizabeth Warren told people she was an American Indian.
For ADVANTAGE. To CHEAT THE SYSTEM.
Some folks are easily riled
Donald Trump also has well-honed “street smarts” ... with which the Left and elites — including the GOPEs — have no idea of how to deal with. Our President is brilliant in so many ways.
Q has got the attention of NYT. That is a large boost for Q’s credibility. I will henceforth pay more attention to Q.
