We sure are making it easy for the ‘Rats, one resignation after another, for whatever reason. And the ‘Rats swoop in like vultures and pick up the scraps. Why can’t we put people in who can avoid this sleazy kind of stuff, are smarty enough to avoid the traps the media ‘Rats set for them (and a nod to you both, Aiken and Mourdock), are honest, honorable, and moral individuals who will serve their terms in office with dignity and not get tainted with the slimemolds of DC? Keep this up and the ‘Rats won’t need to win the elections in November, they’ll just sweep up the special elections held for all the resignations.

Yes, this is how we lost the House on 2007!

Where are all the Democrats resigning for paying off sexual harassment charges?

Another thing that would help is if we do have a successful Presidential candidate he/she should not be tapping current holders of elective office for Executive Branch positions. Find people who have held office but retired after serving their terms honorably, or get someone who hasn’t held office but is so well-qualified for the particular purview they will hold that the ‘Rats will not be able to mount any opposition to them. This business of picking current office holders puts those seats at risk in special elections, as we have seen.
