There is another possibility. And maybe this just shows more about me than a typical person.
Do conservatives have less of a tendency to follow tweets? I have not even tried to find the tweet site to read any. Even though I spend most of my time at work on computers, at home I keep it simple, FR and e-mail. Younger generation which tend to be liberal spend more time on computers and surf more - I think.
Twitter is where the war is at, my FRiend.
Harris has better twitterbots
“at home I keep it simple, FR and e-mail””
Same here - not even a cell phone to play with in waiting rooms and it sets me off to read about all this social media BS..and the trouble it causes. I can’t believe there are so many NEEDY people in our country. THIS IS what Rush has talked about many times...modern equivalent of “keeping up with the Jones’s.”
I have yet to figure out why tweets are typed out and then we have to see the gobbledygook tweet itself. Isn’t just printing it enough? Why do we have to see what it actually looks like? Who cares?
“”Define gobbledygook: wordy and generally unintelligible jargon””
“”language that is meaningless or is made unintelligible by excessive use of abstruse technical terms; nonsense.””
And that's fine if all you want to do is engage in political small talk with like-minded individuals.
If you want to actually promote conservative ideas to the low-info masses, as many younger conservatives wish to do, you need access to those platforms that millions of people are using. This is where getting shadow-banned from Twitter or demonetized from Youtube becomes a problem and "we'll just start our own websites" isn't the answer when the left has unrestricted access to the same millions of low-info voters.
