A First Dates hopeful was left speechless when his dinner guest revealed she was six months pregnant over dinner.
The Channel 4 show, which brings people from all over the UK together in hope they will find love, matched ex-army engineer Steve, 38, with army medic Lyn, 36.
Halfway through their meal Lyn dropped the bombshell that she was expecting a child with an anonymous sperm donor after deciding she no longer wanted to wait for the right man.
Steve was momentarily caught off guard but quickly regained composure, praising Lyn for making the tough decision to have a child on her own. He later added he would 'embrace' the opportunity to have a child in his life.

If a woman is over 30 and never married, there’s probably a reason. Especially if her reason for never marrying is “Mr Right” never showed up, as that indicates that he likelihood of being satisfied with YOU are probably nil, no matter how desperate she feels.

He said what was expected on a TV program watched by losers, failures, and other non-productive individuals. But he’s got to run the other way.
Does anyone think that a “match” made on TV, based on shallow characteristics, is any better than a “match” made at a singles’ bar with soft lighting, overpowering music and cheap alcohol?

It’s like my experience before meeting my future wife.
I found that it was easier to meet women if they knew I was already in a relationship.
If they see a guy isn’t in a relationship currently, they will wonder why.
