LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police Chief Steve Conrad says police will be releasing more information after a suspect was shot and killed by officers responding to reports of domestic trouble in the Shawnee neighborhood Wednesday night.

It's the third time in less than week that a suspect has died after being shot by police in Louisville.

When officers arrived, Conrad says they found 42-year-old Isaac Jackson armed with several knives.

"At some point one of the officers was injured with one of the knives," Conrad said Wednesday night. "The other officer ended up involved in the shooting, shots were fired," Conrad said.

Don’t respect the rule of law and obey orders you get the dirt nap you deserve. No compassion for thugs who get killed in their line of duty.

It's as if I can hear the voice of Jesus Christ himself expressing such Christian sentiments...

Domestic disturbances are the worst and one of the dangerous calls to take.

Yep. Where I live they require 3 cops to go on every domestic disturbance call.

Why should I care if inner-city thugs get shot when they’re repeatedly told to put down their weapon or show their hands.

The police ought to get both a promotion and a medal for saving taxpayer money on incarceration.

Inevitably, the caller ends up attacking the cops.
