Comey’s media tour shows why we’re better off without him
NY Post ^ | 28 pr, 2018 | Michael Goodwin

You don’t have to be a cockeyed optimist to believe that, although times are tough, they could be worse. Just imagine the mess if James Comey were still running the FBI.

Near the end of his forceful Thursday interview, Fox News anchor Bret Baier asked Comey if he would have kept working for President Trump had the president not fired him.

“Yes,” Comey said. “In fact, that was my intention. To serve another six years.”

Yikes. Thank heavens — and Trump — Comey didn’t get the chance to corrupt the FBI for a minute longer, let alone six more years.

Comey’s book tour is a phenomenon possible only in the Age of Trump. He is treated like a star because he delivers catnip to the hate-Trump media, as when he condemns the president as “like a crime boss who’s morally unfit.” The book, “Higher Loyalty” has sold more than 600,000 copies and the president feeds the circus by calling Comey a “leaker and a liar.”

Most authors would die for such attention and sales, but Comey is paying a reputational price for his windfall. The more he talks, the more he inadvertently proves Trump’s case that something was very rotten in Washington and that Comey himself was unfit to lead the FBI.

Putting people in prison for tricks called lies while he is lying the whole time. There has to be a severe consequence.

After his sacrificial service to this country, Gen. Flynn had to sacrifice his reputation and plead guilty to a totally bogus charge so that he would not leave his family penniless and homeless. He was a military man and didn’t have the millions of dollars that the Mueller thugs were going to cost him in legal bills, so he would have had to sell his home. This is how the Democrats treat our war fighters.

There is no justice here, but there will be perfect justice when these criminals cower before the Almighty on Judgment Day.

Who could have ever predicted that supposed ‘conservative’ Andrew C. McCarthy would be on Comey’s side in this crime wave?

Comey’s media tour shows why he ought to be prosecuted with extreme prejudice.

Comey would have been a key player in completing the coup. Sure, he would have liked to be there for Trump’s removal from office on fictitious charges.

by now, there should have been some action on Clinton/DNC funding of the Steele dossier used to get a FISA warrant on multiple occasions, in an effort to stop Donald Trump becoming President, and then in order to try to destroy his Presidency.

28 Apr: Craig Murray: Probable Western Responsibility for Skripal Poisoning
UPDATE: Stupidly I had forgotten this vital confirmation from Channel 4 News (serial rebel Alex Thomson) of the D Notice in place on mention of Pablo Miller.

TWEET: Alex Thomson Ch4: About the only decisive public move by the authorities has been to censor MSM via a D Notice last week from fully identifying Mr Skripal’s MI6 handler living nearby...
12 Mar 2018

Back then I did not realise what I now know, that the person being protected was Pablo Miller, colleague in both MI6 then Orbis Intelligence of Christopher Steele, author of the fabrications of the Trump/Russia golden shower dossier. That the government’s very first act on the poisoning was to ban all media mention of Pablo Miller makes it extremely probable that this whole incident is related to the Trump dossier and that Skripal had worked on it, as I immediately suspected. The most probable cause is that Skripal – who you should remember had traded the names of Russian agents to Britain for cash – had worked on the dossier with Miller but was threatening to expose its lies for cash.

this is the Dem’s weak spot and Comey’s lies about what he knew about the funding of the dossier only makes it more frustrating that no-one is being called to account:

29 Apr: Daily Caller: Chuck Ross: Democrats Ignore Dossier In Russia Report, In Stark Contrast To Their Early Rhetoric
California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the committee, made numerous references to Steele’s claims during an opening statement for the hearing, which was held on March 20, 2017...
Democrats seemingly had high hopes for the dossier back then...

But a Democrat-authored report released Friday suggests that Schiff & Co. have lost interest in the dossier over the past year...

Republicans, in contrast, have ramped up their focus on the dossier over the past year. Pressure from committee Republicans forced Perkins Coie to come forward in October to acknowledge hiring Fusion GPS. Congressional Republicans have also forced out details of the FBI’s reliance on the dossier to obtain spy warrants on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page...

time to take action.

Even if Comey’s defense is that he had no idea Clapper and the rest of the conspirators intended to bring down Donald Trump, he is still guilty of conspiracy. CNN’s role should also be investigated, BTW.

Correct me if I’m wrong. The FBI/DoJ went to the FISA Court at least 4 times using the DNC/Hillary/Steele Pee-Pee Paper as a basis of the FISA warrant request to spy on political opponents. That means they had 4 occasions to explain to the court (not by a hidden footnote here and there) that the Pee-Pee Paper Dossier was funded by political operatives. Further, they failed to inform the court that the Pee-Pee Dossier was piped through the Coie law firm to avoid campaign finance laws and FEC rules. How many crimes were committed in this little gambit?

I was prepared to watch his interview with CHuck Todd, but after the lead in I switched channels as it was so glowing about Comey and so negative about Trump. Chuck is a total loser.
