I would say that it is more of DISAPPOINTMENT and DISILLUSIONMENT with the Iraq war and its aftermath than anything else.
There was a time when most FReepers supported Bush’s invasion of Iraq because they believed that Saddam was lying and DID indeed have WMD’s. I should know, I was on most threads in 2003 that were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Israel was of course, one of the main cheer leaders for this invasion.
After the war and occupation dragged on for over a decade and no serious evidence of the WMD’s were found, many FReepers became disillusioned.
Add that to the 4,000 dead Americans and the fact that Iraq could not get its act together and allowed Iran to come in and influence their politics and you should understand why many FReepers are now wary of Israel’s drum beating.
One cannot help but feel that Israel is using us as another weapon to fight their battles.
Understand this and you will begin to know that this has little to do with Anti-Semitism.
Why do automatic believe the CIA? Some are partisan and many hate Israel being in the globalists’ planned Arab “region”.

I don’t think it is what you say. We are in this curious state where the Deep State is trying to use the US military as an arm of the Saudis to punish their Shiite enemies. So some get their ire up when Israel puts the same pressure on the US to deal with Iran or Syria.
I simply think that Israel is in a tough place. If they act on Iran or Syria they get their hand slapped by the international community, so they prefer the US take leadership on it.
Personally the US needs to distance itself from supporting any war over there. If the Israel’s want to act all the power to them. Heck the US can even provide additional funding and resources.
