The tendency of pastors to bend to whatever they think will put the most money into the donation basket, will be the downfall of churches.
The tendency of pastors to listen to pastors' wives who want to be seen positively by the crowd, may be the bigger issue.
Wishing God's mercy on persons who lead others astray? Are you daft?

When the Scriptures refer to millstones being hung around certain offenders' necks, and referring to others as "vessels fitted for destruction" you are ill advised to stand in His way, as He goes about His business.
