Frances economy minister Bruno Le Maire said Sunday that Air France employees must resume dialogue with bosses and restart efforts to improve the companys competitiveness, otherwise the airline will disappear.
I appeal to the sense of responsibility of everyone involved: flight crew, ground staff, the pilots asking for unjustified pay increases, he said on French TV news channel BFMTV. Take responsibility Air Frances survival is at stake.
Le Maire added that the state is not there to pay off the companys debts.

Crony capitalism = soft socialism = SLOW BANKRUPTCY = Zimbabwe, Venezuela, etc.
Not exactly a reason n to book on Air France at your next opportunity.
These measures [towards socialism] will, of course, be different in different countries.Looks like Fabianism is just another branch of Marxism after all.
Communist Manifesto, chapter 2

Ha, ha, ha!
I was with a company that acquired a smaller French company. French labor law severely restricted what we could do with the French company. So all the firings to make the combined company more competitive happened in the United States. The U.S. company moved it’s IT support to France! You can imagine how well that worked out.
Good luck getting Air France to change. If they go out of business, they will have a huge fleet of A380s to sell. There’s a huge market for them. (snort)
You’d be crazy to book when the employees are angry and don’t want to work.
They just need some outside the box thinking.
How could they increase profits?
Lets see.
Increase revenue streams......
Sell advertising on the outside of the planes!
Fly High At Bobs Pot Palace!
Happy Landings From Acme Life Insurance!
Snails! The Other White Meat!
Hahaha.
I flew Air France last year, and the flight to Paris was quite nice. Mind you, I was in business class
That's the first ever EURO-built and touted Airbus on its first computer controlled takeoff.
It did not go well...
Oh no...Air France will go out of business...And how many US airlines went out since 1980s???
