Iowa just passed a big pro life bill.
The response has been “Well, if you are pro life WHY DON’T YOU SUPPORT THE LIVES OF TEENAGERS DESTROYED BY UNPLANNED PREGNANCY!!! THEY CAN’T HELP THEMSELVES!”
My bride typical tells them to keep the pee stick out of the baby hole, and all will be good. But no, it is never the people doing the deeds responsibility but mine for saying “There is a price to having random unprotected sex outside of marriage”.
I know and have seen a number of women in their 20s and 30s get pregnant. None of them were that sold on the relationships they were in at the time of the pregnancies.
Some married the father, some married some other guy, and some didn’t get married at all.
They all used it as a wakeup call to getting their lives in order... Getting a career and not just ‘a job’ (also quit persuing another degree as an excuse to not enter the 9-5 job force). Stopped going out to the bars every night as well.
All of them love and cherish their kids. Some are still brainwashed though and push for taxpayer support and celebration of abortion.
