Easy solution - require all dogs to have muzzles and leases. It will be as good gun control but won’t have to deal with the culture of violence.

Maybe. But there appears to be at least 4 victims here, 2 humans, one of whom apparently owns the dogs, and two animals mauled, one of whom was a PTSD service dog, and the other a small dog. In the 911 call, the caller appears to be the woman whose husband’s service dog was attacked, and the pack of at least 3 pit bulls also turned on their owner, who was incapacitated on the ground having breathing problems after being mauled by her own dogs. It isn’t in this initial story who shot the dead pit bull.

Just curious but wondering if the owner of the service dog was packing heat or ran into the house to grab a gun. Either way it was an armed citizen stopping a violent attack. Score one for the good guys again.

Exactly. I had an aggressive dog whom I had wear a humane, soft rubber, made-in-Italy muzzle for over three years. She was able to drink, bark and accept small snacks through the muzzle, and at the same time, it rendered her harmless.
From the headline, I thought someone had taken out the thug that owned the pitbulls.
As for PTSD dogs, folks are getting tired of that ‘service dog’ scam.

Your take is funny, but maybe the poster is suggesting you can lease a killer dog, kill somebody, perhaps survive the outcome yourself, and return the pittie to the lessor.
