JAKARTA - A family of six carried out suicide bombings at three churches in Surabaya in Indonesia's East Java province during Sunday mass on May 13, killing at least 13 people, according to the police.
The attacks took place at the Santa Maria Church in the Ngagel Madya area of Indonesia's second-largest and busiest city, the Surabaya Centre Pentecostal Church and the GKI Diponegoro Church.
East Java provincial police spokesman Colonel Frans Barung Mangera told reporters a total of 41 injured victims from the attacks have been sent to hospital. At least two of the injured were police officers on duty guarding the churches.

Wow. I had no idea Lone Wolves who struggle to integrate into an unfamiliar culture came in families. I just hope this doesn't lead to an anti-Lone-Wolf-family-who-is-struggling-to-integrate-into-an-unfamiliar-culture backlash. Most Lone Wolf Families are peace-loving, productive members of society who rarely blow up churches.
The suicide bombers were a family that had recently returned from Syria where they were brainwashed by ISIS. The Christians in Indonesia are a tiny minority and have little protection from persecution as the country is Muslim majority ruled.
Sister in-law teaches at a Christian school in Surabaya.
My sister in-law said there was another bombing at an apartment within the last hour.

Interesting that the ‘family’ had returned from ‘SYRIA’ just prior to the attacks.....two of the older teenagers actually blew the bombs..the other had her two daughters (12 and 9yrs) with her and she pulled the bomb.
I have often said that it’s the Islamic ‘women’ who indoctrinate their kids from infancy...they raise them to die for Allah. The fathers simply carry on thereafter....
The koran tells them to be murderers for their religion.
Islam is incompatible with civilization and should be banned by any sane country.
Freedom of Religion DOES NOT extend to advocates of murder.

How can so many people be so blind to this? It never ceases to amaze me.
It doesn’t start ‘til 16 May this year. What they did in those churches is just pure spite, and a warm-up.
Warming up is what they do. That’s what they did in Paris yesterday/today.
