President Trump referred to MS-13 gang members as animals yesterday, 5/16/18. The media exploded against him, claiming he was referring to all immigrants as animals. As a complete transcript of the discussion proves, the media are wrong.
But was President Trump correct to call MS-13 members animals?
Well, all human beings are in the Animal Kingdom, so technically, science says we are all animals, even MS-13 members.
But Mr Trump’s reference was not a definition, but rather a connotation, a use of the term that many people understand.
Most animals other than human beings have some common behavior that they are compelled by genetics to practice. They kill. However, with certain exceptions mostly related to self-defense, animals kill to eat. They generally do not kill just to kill. MS-13 members kill just to kill.
Also, animals do not generally torture other animals. And the vast majority of animals do not rape others. MS-13 members torture and rape just to torture and rape. So, technically, President Trump's connotation that MS-13 gang members are animals was not correct. Animals are much more humane that MS-13 gang members.
A more apt description of these savages is barbarous. But most Americans fully understood Mr Trump and agree with the concept he was effectively communicating. The media, on the other hand, are effectively communicating that they are in favor of the barbarism of MS-13 gang members. Maybe they are jealous that these barbarians are largely successful behaving in this uncivilized manner without fear of opposition.
I would call MS-13 members animals, but why denigrate animals?
No, they are not high enough on the evolutionary ladder to be called animals.
Just call them targets and have at it.
The media are full of it. They know damn well the context and that he was talking about MS13 gang violence.
So now the liberals want to say that MS13 gang members, are just poor immigrants fleeing violence and poverty in their Homeland?????

Animal is opposed [] to spiritual or rational, which respects the soul and reasoning faculties; as animal nature, spiritual nature, rational nature.
They are scum and must be erased!
Americans know what Trump means and agree. The media sideshow is just that, entertainment for themselves.
Animals won’t kill for the fun of it - but MS-13 will.
I wish that the President had made it clear that animals are on a far higher moral plain than the monsters in MS-13.
Calling someone, or a group of someone’s “animals” is a figure of speech, a colloquialism, and this is well understood.

Worse than animals. Animals kill, rip, and tear their prey for the purpose of eating for survival while MS-13 gang members do the same for misguided respect for machismo.
They are worse than animals. Not many animal mean us harm but all of these scumbags do.
We need a realistic plan as to what to do with this growing segment of society (severely damaaged, never able to integrate or function, anti social and possibly dangerous and )
Because living with them with the hope and prayer that they are salvageable aint working.

Trump is right. Most ppl commenting on MS-13 have never encounter them and are clueless as to their animal-like nature.
