With the actress' father missing the royal wedding on Saturday, Prince Charles, the father of groom Prince Harry, will walk Meghan Markle down the aisle. Markle "has asked His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales to accompany her down the aisle," Kensington Palace said Friday. It added that Markle's future father-in-law "is pleased to be able to welcome Ms. Markle to the Royal Family in this way."

The guy who would have been running things for the queen was pushed out by Chuck’s people a while back. Probably why this is such a cluster. But I’m sure Chuck’s minions are very happy to have him get the face time. I’ll bet they are pleased about the dad self-destructing since it gave Chuck this opportunity.
Probably for the best. I would have thought that Meghan Markle’s mother would have enough to handle without adding walking her daughter down the aisle, too. Prince Charles is the best solution to a messy problem.
I bet running off to Gretna Green has seemed tempting to the couple after the farce of the last week or so.
