Somehow I missed the whole graphic novel thing, even when I collected movie stuff and would see it in the same places I shopped. Clueless.
But it’s boom times for those who did. It seems those comics are the main source for scripts these days.

Jimmy Olsen used to cross-dress in the comics but it was always in the line of duty for his job. I don't think I have ever read a single instance in which Jimmy Olsen did that. Superman was about the only comic I ever bought, and I used to have a huge collection. This stuff must have started after I quit buying comics, probably around the late eighties.
