Some harsh words about Trey Gowdy.

“No indictments, no charges, no revelations, no — nothing has ever happened except he gets to have some terrific moments as I think he did with Hillary Clinton. Where after 11 hours he just let her talk endlessly and never laid a glove on her. It was an amazing performance," he added, referring to Clinton's testimony before the committee in October 2015.

Without even discussing Gowdy, dramatic action by Congress requires the Speaker of the House and majority party leadership. Pinning inaction on criminal matters any one committee chair is just ignorant.

I agree that Trey is known for articulate bluster and little else. He never actually DOES ANYTHING, but rather retreats into the Swamp Bar. Dobbs is right.
My position for ages. Nice to finally see him exposed in the media though. I still speak to some on the right though that say “ Trey Gowdy is really good on this or that...”

Liked Gowdy a lot when I first heard of him. But he’s all hat, no cattle.
So true. Congress, Gowdy are all talk and virtue posturing, but zip for action and results.
We need a list of committee chairmen that have acted in an exemplary manner in halting corruption. The successors to Gowdy in the various committees should be aware of the proper example to follow.
