The Italians haven’t had a decent gov’t since Julius Caesar killed the republic.

Ah, the will of the EU must be imposed over its states, I see.

We don’t need no stinking democracy.

Government in Italy is an odd affair, seemingly draconian to us in many ways, alarmingly loose in others and the people just ignore what they don’t like, openly flaut it in fact. This guy’s playing with fire, it can turn ugly as we saw with Mussolini at the end.

“After having 4 prime ministers not elected by the people:

- Monti (2011-2013)
- Letta (2013-2014)
- Renzi (2014-2016)
- Gentiloni (2016-2017)

The Italian president just asked Carlo Cottarelli to form a government. It would be the 5th consecutive unelected prime minister.”

Wow.

Interesting that the Italians call the Euro a ‘German Cage’.

At the same time, many Germans are nostalgic for a return of the German Mark.

The dream of a United European Union look to be in trouble.

Globalists - they love elections when they win. They use fraud to guarantee that win. When even fraud fails, they squawk and squeal. Here, it’s “Russia!” In Italy it’s “but the EU!” It’s time for nationalism to rise again.

Plenty at the link above. The EU has things well in hand.

This, and the UK un-Brexit and discarding of its judicial process, are not accidents.

Apparently the “elites’” answer to people demanding freedom and a representative government is to rush towards the police state immediately. Here, the tech “elite” similarly are busy trying to squelch free expression.

The only question is whether they win by a divided and incoherent response, taken down by the truth, or whether it gets very serious (and if so, who pounces on the opportunity while the West recovers itself).

A computer/software, social media site, reports something is “trending”. Software reports things which are trending based on whatever the algorithm is. The “trending” items may or may not be the most watched, whatever the algorithm decides.

Social media sites, are increasing reporting _false_ “trending” and other “social” based info. Social sites _pretend_ to report what the people on the site are doing. But they report what the algorithm want to be reported, only.

It is amazing that a social site (Twitter) is reporting any truth about what is trending, anymore. Duh.
