The worst drivers in Texas are the ones in pickups around Conroe on I-45.

Oops. LOL - Stayed overnight at a Conroe hotel. Took a stroll around the grounds in the morning and saw a woman examining her BMW. The upper grill and hood was smashed in. Told her it looked like a pickup backed into the car overnight.

Sounds like a good one.You should buy a copy on Amazon. Here's a review:
Collateral Crimes is the best crime thriller Ive read in years. Its a riveting, fast-moving, well-crafted page turner that had me hooked from the beginning.

failing to yield to stopped traffic
Wait, what? I never yield to anything that is stopped, lest I remain stopped forever. Is this something like getting pulled over for attempted speeding?

My uncle has a pickup truck, but he actually uses it to pick up stuff.

If you want to see a slow pickup, just check out your average duelly. I don’t know whether it’s the wheelbase interfering with the speed or what, but they tend to go slower than the average.

Yes, but I’m sure you actually go AROUND the stopped traffic, not through it.

I’m probably gonna look for it at the library first. Tend to do that with most books.
Thanks for the recommendation.

I bet the trucker was texting. Ive seen tractors pulling doubles weaving across two lanes of interstate traffic. When I finally got beside him he had his phone in hand texting or watching something. He had been swerving for over 10 miles before I got beside, then past him. Fed Ex double.....As a FedEx truck driver I'm saying next time that happens get his truck number and call the company. If they can prove it, it's automatic termination. Even if they can't prove it, your complaint will be followed-up on and will put the fear of God into him/her.
FedEx is pretty lenient with it's drivers but using electronic gear, even hands-free, while driving is automatic termination.
That said, as a truck driver, I'd say easy 95% of the people I see in cars in the passenger seat have a phone while well over 50% of the drivers are texting or reading their phone. I've come across numerous accidents where in daylight, dry conditions where the driver has just gone straight off the road instead of making a curve. The reason is obvious.
Of course it affects ME as their screw-up by not paying attention results in backups.
