Governor: How will we pay for it?
Court: It doesn’t matter. Start paying for it.
Virginia is going to take a huge hit on this debacle. If the Democrats take over the GA, we better elect a Democrat for governor. A Republican will just be the scapegoat for the collapse.
I suggest a new funding formula. The state should take notice of the areas which approved the measure and the level of support there. Then the taxes should apply in such percentages that model the vote most closely. The highest supporting areas should bear the highest burden of the increased taxes.
