Did Trump say any of the Eagles kneeled? If I am wrong, please correct me. I thought Trump said ‘staying in the locker room is as bad as kneeling’.
Nope - just Fox News did.
Even Mollie , who is usually pretty good, sounded like she thought he said that.

Agree. Shannon Bream tried to stop Stoddard as Stoddard has gone way over her time, and Stoddard kept talking over Bream and wouldn’t shut up. I was embarrassed for Stoddard, but she wasn’t self-aware enough to be embarrassed for herself.

I get that I should have said ‘knelt’. But the buzz was, over the year, that NO Eagles ever knelt during the anthem. Looks like THAT was a lie.

Everybody will be looking to see who stayed in the locker room, so it will be the same controversy. And we will still refuse to watch.

“New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Three members of the Giants took a knee during the national anthem. All-Pros Landon Collins and Damon Harrison and linebacker Olivier Vernon each chose not to stand for the anthem. The rest of the team and coaches locked arms during the anthem.
The Eagles locked arms before the game, with chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie joining the players. Cornerback Malcolm Jenkins raised his fist during the anthem, along with wide receivers Torrey Smith and Marcus Johnson.”

Too disingenuous by half - they may not have kneeled, but Jenkins, Long and probably several others held up their hands in the crypto-Nazi power fist sign of defiance (according to the morning talk-show host on 1210 radio) - the intent was the same - to taint the glorious history and achievements of a fantastic country with the personal grievance overblown generalization that white policemen target blacks for violence and death....
