Pitbulls should be banned. Short of that, those people who insist on owning them should be criminally liable for anything they do, period. I don’t care if the owner wasn’t there, it’s his responsibility to see that it was controlled. If he left it in the care of a woman who couldn’t control the canine monster it’s on him.

Not making any excuses for the pit bulls or the idiots that own them. The son did leave them locked up in a room. It was the mother (grandmother to the child) that let them out.

My mistake to use "locked" though shut in a room is sufficient for a dog that has no opposable thumbs.

RECIPE FOR DISASTER!
In stinking rotten Florida, if you are Hispanic and someone loses their life because of an incident involving you having committed misfeasance, malfeasance, or nonfeasance, the incident is always ruled “accidental”—or “no charges filed”. That’s because local law enforcement will do ANYTHING to avoid having to get involved with ICE or DHS. So the Hispanic is never held to the higher standard which binds the actions of non-Hispanic citizens of the U.S. And the arrogant, crotch-grabbing, border-jumping colonizers know this very well. Sanctuary states all read from the same playbook.
Why not get to the meat of it - they had a dangerous animal in the house with a child - even though most adults would not be able to control the animal if it decided to go for the kill when they happened to be trying to handle it.....
Pack animal dynamics is not accidental.
Pit bulls sure seem to keep their apologists busy, don’t they? It seems to be a rare week without a serious mauling or death by a pit bull.
