In the US the decoder ring translates it as “no self-defense for you”. Having a bum week? Whatever you do, don't use that word to describe your mood to any do-gooder, esp. to one on the government payroll.
Across the pond the students are likely having serious mental health issues from all the harrassment and thuggery coming from the deluge of cultural encroachment er enrichment brought to them by same caring government that gave them the NHS.

An interesting point. We were just having a dinner conversation about the several recent notable suicides and the statistics about how suicides in general are increasing dramatically. The ones that we knew about were all Leftists. I wonder whether the Trump hysteria has created a feeling amongst Leftists that the world is about to end. They certainly all act crazy. How much of that hysterical hyperbole is exacerbating the mental condition and leading to suicidal depression?
I am frequently exposed to a Left-leaning man who will, quite literally, get spitting mad if I say anything conservative sounding. I review everything in my head first to sanitize it of any possible political view.

A prince outranks a duke. So the higher title is used. And not that anyone asked me, but it’s all nonsense. Princes, dukes, barons...none of them have any power anymore. They might as well award titles such as “The Grand Duke of Jupiter”.

I suppose they refer to Prince William as “the Duke Of Cambridge” instead of using prince title since his wife was named in conjunction. And I’m with you...at this point I’d have more respect for the Grand Duke of Jupiter.
