I recently interviewed a hacker claiming to be the person who Swatted the home of David Hogg. They provided me with a recording that is included in this video as proof that they are who they say they are.
It is possible this is a hoax on me however I believe the evidence provided does prove they committed this swatting.
Yes I understand the ethical conundrum of publishing an interview with teenagers trying to get attention but understanding their motives and proving who they are is potentially more important to the public.
If true then the perp was just a brain-dead teenager who thinks it is no big deal to Swat people which means when he is caught should have the book thrown at him. As you can hear the supposed perp is no "rightwing" gun guy since the goofy teen says he owns no guns and has no political motivations.
In any event, I hope the police monitor this tape to take this creep down. A harsh sentence would serve as a warning that Swatting is no joke.

Resolved by not publishing. They can relay any info discovered to the cops investigating and only publish if the cops don’t act.
Whoever the swatting is directed at, it’s not a joke and not to be taken lightly. IMHO, swatting constitutes as a minimum attempted capital murder.
I am amazed at what passes for responses to internet discussions and gaming rivalries these days.
Doxxing and SWATting.
I have no idea what possesses people to such cruelty and vindictiveness.
However I’ve been practically doxxed twice; once on World of Warcraft andother on a gaming message board and its politics section.
The individuals involved were both unstable as hell and it was a frightening experience to know without a real name, email address etc. they were able to sleuth who I was. One went so far as an IP look up/tracking through Ventrillo. If you’re a gamer you may know what that is.
At the very least they should make the parents of this teenage cretin PAY the entire cost of both swattings. BTW, I won’t be surprised if the teenage creep also called in the swatting on the Cameron Kasky home as well so his parents should be made to pay for that as well.
Swatting can only happen if we allow Government to Ignore the protections afforded Citizens in the US Constitution. I find it amazing that so many people here think the idea of a SwAT Team breaking in Doors, Guns Blazing, based on an ANONYMOUS PHONE CALL could ever be construed as Probable Cause.

You are correct! A friend of mine was swatted over politics in a small, leftwing NJ town. He has never recovered from that event. The police had nothing more to go on than a call from a pay phone that “a dead body was in the man’s house” and yet within minutes, they were on the roof, at the front and back door with guns drawn.
And that is why I believe Every Elected Official, Judge and Police Officer should be SWATTED REGULARLY. When they suffer the consequences of their own Actions, it will change.
There was a person on a baseball board that used to hack peoples emails and got all types of info. A very smart very disturbed teen that would pull all their personal info and print it on the board. I do not know all that happened but someone finally hacked him and some intervention happened.
I see that he appreciates the dilemma, but this has always been the choice to made. Opinion both within and outside newsrooms is definitively moving away from publishing names and pictures and blogs, and this guy needs to get the memo.
I’m a little torn over this.
I found it difficult to come down on one side or the other, until I analyzed the incident through the greater context of David Hogg’s, his handlers’ (and his parents’) actions.
What is it he is seeking to do?
Fundamentally, to disarm free citizens, forcing them to accept the will of anyone possessed of greater power and/or strength than they without recourse to “equalizing” power.
This could be a home invasion by one or many seeking to torture, rape and murder you or your family. It could be a rapist or mugger on the street or carjacker.
This could be ANTIFA or BLM thugs acting en masse to “burn out whitey” a la’ H. Rap Brown’s dictum of the 1960s put into action within the last few years of the Obama administration and subsidized by the many tentacles of George effing Soros’ no borders/one world governance groups.
Anyone else recall the Korean grocers defending their businesses with AR15 rifles during the riots in SE Los Angeles after the Rodney King verdict was released? Without those guns, they could’ve easily met the fate of Reginald Denny, or worse. Progressives (liberals, democrats, call them what you will) were BURNING buildings there, and the police stayed home.
Hogg seeks to disarm victims. He is acting in the interests of globalist progressive powers who see armed citizenry as a threat to their absolutism in governance at all levels.
Hogg wants to see our basic natural, civil, God-given, Consitutionally-protected HUMAN right to keep and bear arms stripped from us by the mere filing of a complaint by anyone who “feels” threatened by someone who owns a firearm.
This is law now in many areas of the country. NOT just “ex parte” orders but “my neighbor owns a LOT of guns and ammunition and I’m afraid he’s plotting a mass murder” can get your guns taken away along with your rights for weeks to years.
This preemptive citizen disarmament stands in direct violation of 230+ years of Constitutional protection and is now a thing. State-approved.
David Hogg would used the ARMED power of the state, exercising power which, in the words of China’s Chairman Mao “comes from the barrel of a gun” to strip formerly free citizens of their rights based upon hearsay and rumor.
I don’t see this - HIS family’s - “SWATTING” as such a bad thing.
I see it as a warning. Divine irony which progressives (liberals, socialists, communists, democrats - you know, the REAL “fascists”) never get, but supply us in spades.
Suck it up Hogg Boy, and have a heaping helping of the tyranny you would see inflicted upon your fellow Americans. Enjoy the power of the state you would serve.

I’ve heard no reports of parental units being slammed against walls, doors bashed in, the usual SWATZI GESTAPO tactics, right? And Camera Hogg was - conveniently - not home. I’m sure he hopped on his tricycle with a camera and peddled his ass (figuratively if not literally) crying me-me-me-me all the way home.
So now he gets yet another fifteen minutes of fame (and you thought the Kardashians were attention whores).

I think you’re mistakenly applying legal principles to a situation where any civilized society would recognize exceptions to them in extreme cases. Anyone facing a situation like that is always going to act in favor of protecting a human life in jeoopardy even if there is a high degree of uncertainty about it. Firefighters, for example, frequently put their lives at risk to enter a burning house even when there is no evidence that anyone is at home.
This is war. Let’s not forget the way the Trump electors were put through hell or how many conservative officials families were harassed by leftist mobs converging on thier homes.

I totally agree. Paul Manafort had a type of swatting. Totally unnecessary to do so, it was a form of terrorism. We need to have some laws changed and some people sent to prison.
Granted the video was long and boring and contained a lot of filler so I didn’t review the whole thing in detail, but I see nothing in there to contradict the idea that Hogg (or one of his friends) made the SWATting call.

This guy talks about what his video allegedly confirms, but what is he saying it confirms? Unclear to me.
