Robert De Niro had a few choice words for President Donald Trump while the legendary actor was on stage at Sunday’s Tony Awards to introduce Bruce Springsteen’s musical performance.
“I’m going to say one thing, F— Trump,” De Niro said while pumping his fists in the air. “It’s no longer down with Trump. It’s f— Trump.”
The political sentiment earned De Niro a standing ovation from the crowd at Radio City Music Hall, while CBS scrambled to bleep the audio on the live telecast. After the audience settled, De Niro got back to talking about Springsteen, who received a special Tony Award during Sunday night. The intimate show, “Springsteen on Broadway” — or as De Niro referred to it, “Jersey Boy” — features the Boss performing his music and sharing stories from his 2016 autobiography “Born to Run.” Tickets to the exclusive concert residency, which has been extended twice, are upwards of $850.
“Do you have any idea how hard it is to get tickets for Bruce Springsteen’s show on Broadway? It’s easier to get tickets for ‘Hamilton,’ and that’s got a much bigger cast, actual dancing and a history lesson,” De Niro joked.
So when De Niro finally got the call to see Springsteen play live, he said ‘yes without asking any questions.”
“Bruce, you can rock the house like nobody else,” he said. “And even more important in these perilous times, you rock the vote, always fighting for, in your own words, ‘Truth, transparency, and integrity in government.’ Boy, do we need that now.”

I think there is much more to this story. The President is going after the human traffickers, the wicked, the globalists, and the criminals.

Such a shame - Hollywood used to have some very good people.
It’s getting to the point where I can’t watch any celebrities and definitely no pro sports.
This makes me wonder how long before the Trump Curse strikes down DeNiro in some fashion or other.

My first thought also. It has to be; his outspoken hatred is definitely not normal. The back story has to be extraordinary.
We’re going to have to decide whether sitting on our tails and being entertained for a few hours is worth putting money into the pockets of people like this. I would hope our side considers the future of our kids and grand kids more important.
Technically, the Tony awards are a New York City production based on the New York City theaters.

DeNiro helps Trump with this type of behavior. I like it.
CBS should be fined millions and have there licensed yanked for allowing this .
