Two Norwegian lawmakers representing the populist party in the country’s legislature have nominated President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize after his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
The lawmakers told their local media that Trump has “taken a huge and important step in the direction of the disarmament, peace and reconciliation between North and South Korea.” The nomination comes after Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway took a swipe at former President Barack Obama’s own Nobel Peace Prize saying “look, the last president was handed Nobel Peace Prize. This president is actually going to earn it.”
The Nobel committee notes that one of the categories of people eligible to nominate individuals are “Members of national assemblies and national governments (cabinet members/ministers) of sovereign states as well as current heads of states.” Currently there are “330 candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize for 2018 out of which 216 are individuals and 114 are organizations.”

While I think this is great, after the rush to give one to Obama, I’d rather they make this a real, deserved award.

And if the maniacs don’t like it, there’s always Dennis Rodman to consider. The Peace Prize has been sullied by being presented to Obama. Does it really mean much who gets it anymore?
Rodman could sure use the money.

Barrack Hussein Obama being placed in the WH was not just the biggest criminal hoax ever pulled on the American people, it was clearly the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on the world. He was given a lot and deserved nothing
They can nominate Trump, who deserves the nomination, but the Nobel Prize has been so politicized that I don’t see him being awarded the Prize.
Refusing to give President Trump the Nobel Prize, which is likely, will only further debase the once-valued and respected honor.
After giving it to Obama for nothing at all except being the first mixed-race U.S. president, the Nobel has lost it’s importance and Trump can live without it.

The president of the United States held the summit for peace in Korea.
The rightful holder of the office should win the Nobel Peace Prize.
Hillary should be president since she won the popular vote.
Ergo, the Nobel prize should go to Hillary!
