North Korea has been threatening South Korea two or three times a year. They say, We want to make Seoul a city of fire. They make weapons. They shoot our navy boat down. They shoot cannonballs into South Korean islands..."
But this aggressive behavior hasnt kept South Korean churches from praying for their Northern neighbors.Instead, South Korean Christians pray frequently for freedom, for evangelism, for the transformation of the North Korean leaders, that God will be merciful to them and to us so our nation will be unified so we can go up there and evangelize in North Korea and plant 15,000 churches."
Will North Koreas recent diplomatic efforts be an answer to South Korean Christians prayers?
Hopefully, says Sang-Bok David Kim, the chancellor of a South Korean evangelical graduate school, Torch Trinity Graduate University.
Kim joined associate digital media producer Morgan Lee and editor in chief Mark Galli to discuss his ambitious North Korea church planting plan, how the South Korean church has welcomed refugees from the North, and the surprising way God entered his familys life.

Thanks for posting.
Who cares?
I do. That’s why I clicked on the thread. Why did you?
Who cares?
*****************
Christians care.
And God.
It is going to take a lot of deprogramming to make the NK people semi-normal. The churches in South Korea will probably be doing a big part of the work.
Tens of millions care that follow Christ.
The SK Church is no small deal. There are more born again Christians, per capita, in SK than any other nation on the planet; including our good ol’ US of A.
> Thats why I clicked on the thread. Why did you?
Probably same reason as I, because the OP has been relentlessly posting globalist propaganda.
Every single thing this person posts is subversive to US interests, without exception.
The purpose of this particular post is sabotage of the current peace process. If Chuck Schumer had a FR account, it would look like the OP’s.
I am 1/2 Korean and Christians don't want war.
You are 100% saboteur and don’t belong here.
A number of years ago, I was tasked with putting together a short briefing on how reunification might look. It obviously wasn’t meant to be a serious look since I had one afternoon to prepare it.
I briefed it in front of some senior staff, including several SK generals. One of the SK generals cried. The other came close. A few days later, I received a letter from a four star South Korean general, thanking me for even contemplating that they might one day be one Korea again.
Many of the South Koreans DEEPLY long for peaceful reunification. I don’t see it happening. But ANY reduction of tension would be a cause of rejoicing for many South Koreans.
Mass conversions to Islam turns civilized people into savages. Best example: The Persians.
“When North Korea’s capital had so many Christians it was called the ‘Jerusalem of the East’ “
Billy Graham’s wife, Ruth Graham Recalls her Time as a high school student in North Korea:
At the conclusion of her six-day visit in 1997, Mrs. Graham summarized her experience as one of the true highlights of her life. Almost nothing remains from my school days here during the 1930s, she said to her hosts. But two things have not changed: the beauty of the two rivers that flow through the city of Pyongyang and the warmth and hospitality of the people.
