I’ve found it is actually easy to avoid giving rich liberals my money when I’m broke. ;-)
But, yeah, I get what you’re saying. I’m kind of at a point where I could almost see myself aligning with a modern Amish-like movement. The Amish use technology and innovations, just outdated versions of them. Even though I’ve always been a big fan of technological innovations, I think I could be comfortable without much more progress in this area.
We definitely trade away our birthright for convenience these days.
