Michael Daniel confirmed Wednesday that former national security adviser Susan Rice ordered him and his staff to "stand down" in 2016 in regard to Russian attempts to meddle in the 2016 election.
Daniel, special assistant to former President Barack Obama and White House cybersecurity coordinator, told members of the Senate Intelligence Committee that quotes attributed to him in the book, Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putins War on America and the Election of Donald Trump, were an "accurate rendering of the conversation" he had with Rice and his staff.
Daniel's staff reportedly responded to the order in "disbelief."
Over the past year, the Obama administration has been criticized for allegedly being aware of Russian attempts to influence the election yet primarily remaining silent on the subject.
The Washington Post reported that Obama himself along with three top aides was given direct evidence from the CIA of Russian President Vladimir Putin's cyber campaign to influence the election.
The Obama administration reportedly knew of Russia's actions for months ahead of the 2016 election, but failed to take retaliatory action until December.
"It is the hardest thing about my entire time in government to defend, a former senior Obama administration official involved in White House deliberations on Russia said of the administration's inaction. I feel like we sort of choked.
Ordered to stand down because she and a few in the Obama cabal were in on the setup all along.
Susan Rice is/was just a puppet. She did whatever she was told to do. Just need to ID her puppet master! (Suspect that she often emailed herself material as she did inaugural day to CYA)
LOL! They thought they were helping Hillary.
Yes, they wanted to setup the Insurance Policy encase Trump won. If Hillary had won it would have just quietly gone away. But it just wasnt the Obama regime, members of the GOPe (like McCain) were in on it.
I wonder if Michael Daniel was under oath?
Russian Roulette’s Isikoff’s book... I smell B.S.
Isikoff’s probably planting a narrative... a cover story for the rest to follow.
Michael Isikoff Says He Was Stunned To See His Story Cited In FISA Warrant · by blam · 70 replies

Its not every day that investigative journalists discover their work was cited in a controversial warrant application that has become a flashpoint of partisan conflict in the US. So, its telling that, rather than being honored to see his work having such a profound impact, Yahoo News reporter Michael Isikoff said he was stunned to see a story he published more than a year ago cited in the FISA memo as one of the justifications in a FISA warrant application for former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. As Isikoff explains, his story was almost entirely based on information from the...

The Michael Isikoff and David Corn upcoming tell-all, Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putins War on America and the Election of Donald Trump, is already a number-one bestseller in Amazons politics of privacy and surveillance section. Its not slated for release until March 20, 2018. Isikoff is the Yahoo News reporter who, in fall 2016, peddled information from Christopher Steele as if it were news. Steele is the former British spy responsible for the DNC-financed opposition research dossier. David Corn is Washington bureau chief of the left-wing publication Mother Jones. Later, when going to the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance...

Doubtful. This story has been known for months. The big unknown is why the kenyan ordered the stand down. Obviously he thought Hillary was going to win and was planning another reset with Russia after the elections. The sanctions would already been gone had she won, IMO.
Wow. NPR and the rest of the toady media will be all over this. Right?
Because they thought the Russian meddling was to get Hillary elected
The Russians owned the Clintons with all the info they had on them
Get me intel on Penguin Books...something slimey to force a big book
deal for me and Michelle. Lois Lerner needs intel on conservative groups.
And get me something on Pelosi and Schumer, what they're saying behind
my back. And push the Russian scam---we need to take Trump down.
As Pootie has done in every election since he was working for ManBearPig's election in 2000.
Obama knew his people were working a 2-way street as they vied for mandarin favoritism in Hillary's new cabinet:
Lying Mike Allen is now just on Hugh Hewitt’s show talking about how Russia interfered and does NOT MENTION that SUSAN RICE told her Cyber Security guy to STAND DOWN from that investigation!!<O<Hey Hugh Hewitt....TELL MIKE TO SHUT UP or STOP LYING!!
This, is the most salient point.
Review the stories about Cankles immediately after her defeat. They point to a gobsmacked woman detached to the point of a reality break. Her post-election conference call -- where she rambled about Comey -- was a disaster. Soros held a post-election 3-day Commie confab at the Mandarin Hotel (how completely f'ing apropos!) which drew angry and now-unemployed Bobo, uh, mandarins.
Then there was this story:
"Or, in the words of a Midwestern fundraiser whos kept in touch with fellow donors, A lot of people are saying, Im not putting another fucking dime in until someone tells me what just happened.
Collusion ,there it is
Yes. He’s probably also using the pretext of writing a book to cultivate sources and gather intelligence, which seems to be his long-term strategy.
They knew it was going on, and they knew it was not effective, but after Trump won (December 2916), THEN they needed action on it in line with the Billary, Inc. “Russian collusion” agenda; which Obama knew his and Billary, Inc.’s insiders would ramp up while Trump was taking office.
