Plenty of people in coma can’t breathe on their own.

No. In this case she would have died naturally.
There was no reason to keep this child alive for all of these years. She should have been allowed to pass on her ownas she would have.
She was never in a coma, but was brain dead. That means she was really dead. Her mother tried to keep the body going (was she hoping a new brain would appear and Jahi would live again?).
Once death has occurred, it is usually impossible to keep the body in a functional state. I’m guessing that Jahi’s body remained in a life-like state because she was so young. I think the maximum time a body had been preserved in this manner was a few months, and this was done experimentally.
Jahi actually died several years ago.

There is no way around that fact, and it has nothing to do with euthanasia.
