Seems like that you’d end up with a lot of unemployed folks with some kind of ‘stand-issue’. And if there’s eight years of Trumpism, and maybe another eight of near-Trumpism...can a guy afford to be unemployed for sixteen years?

I love the meaning behind the MAGA caps but I don’t want to see them while eating or church like any other caps.

What the guy did was bad, but it’s far better than having him go passive-aggressive. He could’ve said nothing, but gone ahead and contaminated the hat-wearer’s food.

For six more years, obvious Trump supporters might be safer eating at home or sticking to buffets when eating out - and BYOB.

...saying the hat represented “racism, bigotry, Islamophobia, misogyny, white supremacy, (and) homophobia...

Isn’t saying something like that in Canada “hate speech?”

They could have made him wear a similar hat while at work for a term instead of firing him.

Darin Hodge, the former manager of the Teahouse in Stanley Park, told Global News he stood by his decision to ask the man to take off the cap saying the hat represented “racism, bigotry, Islamophobia, misogyny, white supremacy, (and) homophobia.”

And his decision represented inclusiveness, tolerance, and love.......all in line with his claimed idealism....

What is funny is if he had refused to provide service to a Muslim he would be charged with a hate crime and face prison time.

...saying the hat represented “racism, bigotry, Islamophobia, misogyny, white supremacy, (and) homophobia.”

The hat represents, if anything, those things which make America great:

On the issue of sexual morality, none of us is pure. If the red hat supports any position on sexual morality, it condemns the sexual abuse of women and children.

As to whether the red hat is "homophobic": There is nothing "disordered" or "phobic" about fearing sodomites. Their brand of evil is a real and present danger not only to America but to the world. We are all sinners, but Bible in Romans I describes those God has given over to a reprobate mind as particularly wicked. The reprobate exhibits more than sexual depravity but is also filled with all kinds of unrighteousness. These know that their behavior is worthy of death (in this life), and take pleasure in encouraging this behavior in others. And we are reminded today that God's disposition toward the sodomite has not changed (Jude 1:7) and that his wrath extends beyond this life.

The sodomites would shame us into accepting their wicked behavior. Not going to happen. It's filthy and reprehensible, totally undeserving of any respect, and worthy of condemnation.
