It would not surprise me to find the CIA was involved.

IF you look at it as a plain murder investigation(forget JFK was the President) it is obvious the LBJ had the motive.
If you recall a few years back the History Channel did a series of documentaries about potential theories/suspects on who killed JFK. One episode blamed LBJ. People went nuts. I thought that flack is always heaviest when you are over the target.

My (late) father always thought Johnson had a hand in this. There must be quite the interesting info for the President not to reveal more about it.
And... he was evil, whether complicit here or not.
