Billionaire and liberal financier George Soros made a second donation of $250,000 to Andrew Gillum’s PAC to support the Florida Democrat’s campaign for governor, The Washington Free Beacon reported.

The PAC belonging to Gillum, the mayor of Tallahassee, has received $700,000 from Soros since the beginning of the campaign cycle.

Gillum was also the beneficiary of a Hollywood fundraiser in March which actress Alyssa Milano and actor Alec Baldwin attended, the report said.

California billionaire Tom Steyer has also supported Gillum, adding $1 million in organizational and advertising support for Gillum, Politico reported Friday.

We need to change campaign finance laws such that one can donate only a finite amount, no matter how many candidates you want to support. It shouldn’t be a finite amount per candidate. That allows uber wealthy people like Soros to have undue influence, in multiple races.

I thought you could only give a couple of thousand to a candidate.

So what’s Soros’ angle here, in Tallahassee?

Will this mayor somehow affect the midterms in Florida or the general in 2020?

He always has an angle. You can count on it.

Another Black “heartthrob” for white female Floriduh voters to start salivating over. This is bad s$#t. And this one comes complete with an FBI investigation hanging over his head for kickbacks. Says his name has never been mentioned in any of the subpoenas issued so far. See the below article:

I thought the Democrats were members of the “po folk”. Soros, Steyer and Greene, all millionaires and/or billionaires.

The Republican candidate should show up wearing blue jeans with a ripped shirt at his campaign and make the comparison.

Best politicians the Democrats can bribe, er, buy.

Is there no campaign finance law to prevent this? Why doesn’t every rat just get a couple thousand from Soros?!?

LOL

I wouldn’t lose any sleep worrying about this guy becoming Governor of Florida.

Whites and Latinos aren’t having any of that.

Probably for more control of the Secretary of state. Florida is always a close electoral vote. Close enough that a little fraud in counting the votes is worth it.

It’s not who votes, it’s who counts the votes.

Let me see if I have this right. Conservative Dinesh D’Souza donates $28,000 and ends up in a federal penitentiary, communist Georgy Swartz donates $700,000 and newspapers write glowing stories about him. Do I have that about right?

There is no limit to donate to a PAC.

The max of $2000 is limited to only those individual office seekers. If you give directly to their campaign.
