Those on the left who are angry about anything and everything related to President Donald Trump have, in some instances, published contact information for administration officials and urged their peers to call and harass those with ties to the White House. This form of tantrum throwing has been largely criticized by most people who still value decorum in pubic debate.
But in Alabama, there’s a new twist on the dialing-direct method of airing grievances.
Alabama Sec. of State John Merrill is fed up with claims by opponents of the state’s voter ID law that tens of thousands of Alabama citizens are being denied the right to vote. So he’s trying to shut them up with a bold offer: If you don’t have an ID card, we’ll come to your home and bring you one.

“And when she brought (that number) up again, I said, ‘You’re telling a lie. And you just need to acknowledge that because you can’t show me 188,000 people,'” he added. “As a matter of fact, you can’t show me a person in this state that doesn’t have an ID that will allow them to participate. And if you do, give me the name of one person, we will go to their home today, and we will give them a valid ID for free.”

I’ve never understood the ID issue. I assume you need a government issued ID to use the welfare and medical systems.
Do people who lack ID to vote not use these services?
In the past week I’ve had to show ID for entering a government facility, transferring money, and at a pharmacy.
And,of course, air travel requires ID.
Exactly, what a bunch of baloney about not having picture ID.
This is what is needed.
Call them out on the lies and expose them.
When the left controlled nearly all the media, people were afraid to call them out, because the media would only give one side, and call the person speaking truth a racist, sexist, homophobe.
Now, enough other media exists that they can be exposed for the liars they are.
I wonder if it would shut up the leftists to ask them if people should show an ID to buy a gun. They would either say “That’s different!” without explaining why or they would say, “No one should be allowed to buy a gun!” Either way the answer would expose them.
At one point, probably in 2015, I counted up the number of occasions where you had to display an ID card of some type, and got up to around 35 requirements. I would openly challenge anyone to go for 365 days without an ID card. You can’t do it unless you agree to live under a bridge and just hang out with losers.
I do agree, if you looked over the entire US...there might be 300,000 American citizens existing without some form of ID. But these are people who live on the fringe of society, or have a residence of some tent in Metro-Detroit.
You can't even get a library card without ID, for crying out loud.

We had the same argument here in Georgia with the exact same solution.Shut them right the hell up.Karen Handle was SOS at the time and she did a fine job.One of our former POS dem governors was one of the liars that challenged the law in court.They lost and the rest is history.

My husband and I had our Medicare Wellness visits last week at the same PC doctor we’ve seen for 12 years and we still had to show our drivers licenses...Always have wondered what people do who go to a doctor and don’t have ID....
It’s been offered for years around the country - we’ll come to you and you won’t have to lift a finger and it won’t cost you anything. NOPE - dems don’t want it done that way! Can’t imagine why? HA!!! Don’t they realize that they are going to run out of the truly stupid people one of these days?
