Get Out Of NATO! The entire concept is absurd! We, American’s foot the bill for a defense of Europe, think EU, against What? Are we defending Europe against Russia? Russia has a GDP the size of Texas and smaller than Italy, France, Germany or the UK! We Americans have carried the burden for 75 years of defending a wealthy, prosperous Europe! It’s time they grow up and pay for their own toys!

Every time you hear someone talk about NATO and defending Europe against Russia, just think about this: The combined GDP of USA and EU = 36T! The size of the Russian Economy is 1.5T!

The EU economy alone is 17T against a Russian economy of 1.5T; that is smaller than South Korea. In population the combined EU is 508M while Russia is only 143M.

Russia is the great mystery threat that is always hauled out, by the Europeans, to keep American taxpayers paying for the collective defense of Europe! President Trump should tell them to Man UP and defend their own countries!

I suppose this attack and divide on Germany and Russia is part of a diplomatic strategy to keep NATO relevant as a buffer between Russia and Europe but...

wait and see

Apparently the globalists have convinced Trump that Germany is supposed to achieve energy security by relying on US LNG shipped 3000 miles across the Atlantic, or to support building new pipelines through garden spots of stability like Ukraine or be supplied from pipelines laid through muslim tribal lands in the middle east,

Whose cooperating tribal regimes and their western financiers ( aka “ democratic reformists”) must be bolstered by NATO military security - hence the urgency to replace Qadaffi and Assad

Its a mess and denies that all this maneuvering is underlaid by elitist power bloc fears of a powerful independent resurgent German- Russian alliance in the European heartland

Energy security for Germany is a permanent national interest
Neither illogical nor questionable

Insisting that the source of Germany’s energy be from transoceanic shipments or pipelines through and from areas whose stability relies on near permanent military occupation -

and that German-Russian enmity and military rivalry between Europe and Russia be a permanent state

that is illogical

Ding ding ding
And about who owns the land and sea beds under which lie all those gas deposits
Putin - or western oil companies and European bankers

I love how plain spoken POTUS is. Have you ever noticed how career politicians can talk and you have absolutely no idea what they said? POTUS doesn’t speak political jabberwocky. He is clear.

I hope he moves our military from Germany, I don’t like the idea that our 40,000 men & women are in a country with over a million jihadi invasion army.

That’s mighty rude of Trump. Accusing Russia of “owning” Germany after Putin helped him get in the White House and all.

Hillary would have shown much more gratitude. /S

Along with the former foreign minister, Joschka Fischer.

Ehmalige Kanzler- und Aussenminister Gazprom.

I noticed the other day that except for Westerwelle, every German foreign minister since 1998 has been SPD or Green.

Germany's foreign ministry since has been in many ways simply a branch office of the Russian foreign ministry.

And Poland also. The German’s always talk about EU solidarity when it comes to fobbing off Muslim invaders invited in by Merkel, but shaft the neighbors mercilessly when it comes their perceived self-interest.

But, now Germans can make their own decisions.

Not a reassuring response given their history.

The Germans shut down ALL their many nuclear power plants when Merkel stayed in power by adding the greens to her coalition. This resulted in the construction of many coal plants to replace them. They import dirtier coal...

Additionally, the Ukraine isn’t in the path of the Russian exit port to the German entry port. Is trump proposing a gerrymandered route?

Great clip, Trump verbally spanking Merkel over and over again for the world to see. I wonder what he’ll talk to her about privately....

When it's in effect OUR money it's both. Germany has saved BILLIONS from underfunding NATO, they can pay up their arrears and do what they want for energy even if it's not in their national security interests.
