So where is Europe supposed to get natural gas at an affordable price. If the answer is the US, then transporting across the ocean is expensive. We need Russia not swimming in money, but we also don’t need them desperate.

We need Russia not swimming in money, but we also dont need them desperate. We need somebody with some negotiating skills who can accomplish just that.
Who, oh who, could that be?

It’s about Ukraine. The new pipeline won’t run across Ukrainian territory, means Ukraine has no way to get transit revenue.

Apparently the globalists have convinced Trump that Germany is supposed to achieve energy security by relying on US LNG shipped 3000 miles across the Atlantic, or to support building new pipelines through garden spots of stability like Ukraine or be supplied from pipelines laid through muslim tribal lands in the middle east,
Whose cooperating tribal regimes and their western financiers ( aka “ democratic reformists”) must be bolstered by NATO military security - hence the urgency to replace Qadaffi and Assad
Its a mess and denies that all this maneuvering is underlaid by elitist power bloc fears of a powerful independent resurgent German- Russian alliance in the European heartland
