In a video that is now going viral for perfectly understandable reasons, a punk in a hoodie who tried to rob a restaurant ended up getting way more than he bargained for.
The incident went down in Arizona when the thug menaced employees at an Arizona eatery with a box cutter and demanded money.

This is why you should always have at least one firearm handy in your place of business.
By my estimation, they were VERY gentle with the thief. Only one guy was throwing some half-assed punches. The other men were just trying to subdue him.
I’ll bet he didn’t walk in there thinking how grateful he’d be if the cops showed up!
He was able to get up and walk away after the police got there. It could have been much much worse.
As PGR88 pointed out, they didn’t do nearly the damage to him that they could have. He was lucky in that respect.
Just underlines the fact that the police don’t protect citizens, they protect the criminals.
Citizens have to protect themselves.
There HAVE been cases in which a crook found that he had landed in a crocodile pit and prayed for the cops to show up. LOL!!!

I’ve read elsewhere that two employees were stabbed, one in the leg and another in the torso.So this is really not one of those harmless, wacky ‘World’s Dumbest Criminals” type of things.
And yep, the owner needs to upgrade his defenses. Even a baseball bat would have been better than the chair they hit the perp with.
