It sounds like the son is being sent to therapy due to same sex sexual feelings. I’m sure the movie takes the position that such treatment is evil. Thus it’s a pro homosexual movie, which seeks to push that narrative.

I’d like seriously to see a poll asking people, if they had a test prenatally on their baby having either gender dysphoria or homosexuality, would they choose to keep the baby? I don’t know the answer. But people are aborting more kids with small disabilities than keeping them. Aborting kids with problems is huge today.
As yourself if life is harder gay or straight? I think most people want their kids to have less hard lives. It is what it is. Only once you know that kids with special needs from gender to autism to blindness are as wonderful and as importnst to this planet as typical kids, you stop praying for “perfectly healthy.” Just pray for a long happy life for your child, no matter how they are born.

Actually, people with differences benefit from therapy. Not to make the gay go away, but to help go through life.
Nothing seems to have struck panic in the hearts of the gayfia more than so-called Conversion Therapy.
Various entities on both sides of the Atlantic have sought to outlaw it - although given that medical and psychiatric treatments are confidential a logical person must ask how the state will be informed of such discussions.
Cutting to the chase, what they really fear is that such therapy does, can and has worked - and therefore disproves their dogma about ‘innate,’ ‘born this way,’ ‘who I am’ etc.
It’s also worth noting that women in particular are, in the words of one writer, ‘notorious lane changers’ meaning they have opposite-sex and same-sex relationships simultaneously or serially and never necessarily commit to one choice or the other.
In sum, homosexuality is celebrated and a cottage industry has been built to encourage anyone ‘curious’ to ‘come out of the closet’ with the implication that such a move is permanent.
But if straight-then-gay is possible, gay-then-straight is equally possible using the exact same criteria employed by the gayfia themselves.

If a boy or young man is molested by an adult male and, as a result, has unwanted same-sex attractions, he has a right and his parents have a right to send the child to conversion therapy.
Predict it will have a “surprisingly” low attendance.
