Want to live a happier life? Be a conservative!

Would it surprise you to learn that if you were picking a governing philosophy based only on personal satisfaction, many would choose to be conservative? The perks cover everything from a potentially better sex life to the ability to lose a few pounds and a sense of greater meaning in life. Don’t take my word for it; let’s go to polls.

Researchers at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles recently reported on a study in the Social Psychological and Personality Science that looked at “five data sets that include representative samples from 16 countries,” finding that conservatives found greater meaning in life and as a result were happier.

“A question that still needs to be addressed is why conservatives find more meaning in life than liberals. Our results showed that it can’t be completely explained by the fact that conservatives are more religious than liberals and religious people find more meaning in life than nonreligious people,” study lead David B. Newman noted. Perhaps one perk is relationships.

This study is spot on. Looks how miserable act when they lose elections. Conservatives don't act that way (not even when Obama won twice).

Liberalism requires one to be constantly angry and complain about other peoples problems that they have no control over.

In other news today, scientist’s decide Water really is wet.

Liberals are motivated by a hatred of the way God created the world. They Tilt at windmills they feel that they need to join a cause to overthrow The Rules of Nature. They are pissing into a tornado their whole life . They constantly focus on the unfairness of everything around them. Conservatives on the other hand tend to take the position of it’s a fallen world and we need to do the best to make the best of what we’ve been dealt. And it’s not God’s fault it’s the devil’s fault and it’s up to me to do what I can to make my life the best.

irrationality + altruism + collectivism + being a loser + being a moocher/parasite + being a looter = unhappiness & misery

Liberals are covetous also especially of people who are happy and contented. They cannot tolerate others’ joy and peace so they must wreck everyone’s life with their idea of Utopia thereby ensuring everyone’s misery.

Many of us felt as badly or worse when Obama was elected. We just had a bit of class and accepted the result, then moved on to keep fighting, knowing that losing a battle doesn't necessarily mean losing a war. Frankly, the differences are numerous and include maturity, the ability to think longer term, and for many faith in a higher power guiding events to an ultimate end.

Liberals are by nature immature, spoiled and self-entitled brats, ignorant of history and genuine science (computer models are NOT science), and too dumb to understand the adage "Beware the fury of a patient man".

I remember all through both of Dubya’s terms, liberals acted like they were dying every single day. It was just ridiculous. When Obama won, I was appalled and concerned the first time, and sickened the second time. But I immediately decided I was not going to have a squalling breakdown and then run to a psychiatrist for meds and tissues. I carried on, life was fine, and ... that’s what a sensible person does.

They are also intensely class conscious, have you noticed that? They love poor brown people (natural servant class to them) but poor white people disgust them to no end. They gravitate to fame, so any celebrity can sway them, and are absolutely fascinated with European royalty. It’s all about class to them, and they constantly reach for any shred of anything that will transfer a little Old World royalty or academic recognition or fame to them.

They gravitate to fame, so any celebrity can sway them . . . .

That is a recipe for unhappiness. Everyone knows how fickle celebrity is - you’re in, you’re out, you’re A-list, you’re D-list. They are so worried about how they stand up to the competition and the Joneses.
