Apparently I'm not the only one who got extremely turned off by Cagle's downright obnoxious commercials.

Come Tuesday, I damn sure will be voting for Kemp...

but I have no idea about lt governor, secretary of state, etc.

Any Freeper input would be most appreciated. Otherwise, I might have to leave them blank.

What were the commercials about?

They were extremely derogatory.

One ends with... Brian Kemp just mucks things up!

I believe in the Reagan principle(don’t smear fellow Republicans)

Neither of them are all that good and their shortcomings are the only reason nutjob Stacey Abrams has a pray.

A day ago Trump endorsed Kemp.

And, Saturday Pence is coming to Macon to support Kemp.

By car, Macon is 25 minutes north of me.

I don’t think she has a chance in hell, but the media will certainly act like she does.

I have been unsure of who to vote for. Both have negatives. The democrats will threaten to withhold business from Georgia if Kemp is nominated due to his bold commercials. But Cagle seems like a classic Rino (and looks like an evil German tank commander in a 70’s WWII movie). However, I just saw the sleaziest anti-Kemp commercial implying that he has some scandal concerning massage parlors. The speaking in the commercial was deliberately fast so you could not tell exactly what was said. But it was designed to plant a seed of doubt about Kemp. At that point I decided to vote FOR Kemp.

Neither of them are all that good and their shortcomings are the only reason nutjob Stacey Abrams has a pray.

Kemp was an excellent secretary of state and is the one who spearheaded the "SEC Primary" date for many Southern states to vote on the same day early in the primary season. Kemp got the other states to join in, and the SEC Primary help get Trump elected. In the past, more liberal states went first, giving RINOs early leads in the primary races.

Just Damn.

I haven’t seen that one yet. I’m really starting to detest Cagle.

The Opinion Savvy analysis describes Cagle’s campaign as being in “free fall.”

Cagle is lying his butt off in the latest, desperate attack ad. Casey Cagle actually endorsed Jeb Bush in the primaries and now claims that he supported Trump while Kemp did not. President Trump heard about that blatant lie yesterday and promptly endorsed Kemp against Cagle.

For background, in 2016 Secretary of State Kemp would not endorse any candidate since he was responsible for overseeing and certifying the election. Kemp welcomed all GOP candidates to Georgia, and personally introduced Trump to many key players. President Trump has not forgotten, and stepped in yesterday to swat down the lying Cagle by endorsing Kemp.

I live near downtown Atlanta, the most liberal part of GA. I see very few Stacey Abrams yard signs. My senior center is a polling place, it was very quiet on the day of the primary.

Abrams is $200,000 in debt, $50,000 to the IRS. Recently Fulton Co. (Atlanta) sent out new property tax appraisals with huge increases for intown property owners. Lots of angry hipsters and other liberal homeowners. Some may resent Abrams not paying her taxes.

I like David Shafer for lt gov. He’s a budget hawk, pro-2A, Pro-life.

For Secretary of State, I like Raffensberger, mostly because I think his opponent, former Alpharetta mayor Davis Belle Isle, grossly overspent the people’s money on their new city hall. Poor fiscal stewardship in my book.

Your post indicates you know nothing at all about GA poltics and merely think you being “smart” by making deregotary comments.

If you know nothing at a all about a topic, don’t post. Posting when you know nothing at all merely makes you look like an ass.

Isn’t Cagle the one who was hobnobbing with Moms Demand Action?

Thank God! Cagle will just be Nathan Deal 2.0. Kemp is marginally better. We voted for Michael Williams in the primary. He is endorsing Kemp who is our choice at this point. My Chihuahua could beat Stacey Abrams.

It is speculated that Johnny Isakson is going to step down because of health issues, when Deal’s term is over and that Deal would be appointed to replace Isakson.
