Gracelyn Mae Violet Griffin’s birth certificate will always be a conversation starter.
That’s because in the spot for “location,” it reads, “Born in Chik-Fil-A,” according to a Facebook post from her father, Robert Griffin.
Her dad, who isn’t a doctor, is listed as the attending physician.
Robert Griffin detailed the Tuesday night of a lifetime in that Facebook post. It all started, he wrote, when Team Griffin pulled into the Chik-Fil-A parking lot to drop off their other two daughters with a family friend, on their way to University Hospital.

““Born in Chik-Fil-A,”” it should be a recognizable location like place and town name “off ramp exit 53 west bound rt 2 in smithville”, even makes more sense then just a business name that can close or change more easily.

Beautiful, healthy baby, but I would not have shouted from the rooftops that my child was born while mom straddled a toilet. Too much information that will be online forevermore.
They are lucky the Chic staff let them in after hours. Most fast food places would ignore a customer knocking on the windows, then retreat from view back in the kitchen. Maybe Chic-Fil-A’s are not like ‘most fast food places’. I’ve never been to one.
