Am I Sinning by Not Ministering at an Abortion Clinic? - Ask Pastor Tim
I'll Be Honest ^ | Jul 18, 2018 | Tim Conway

Abortion is one of the flagrant atrocities going on in America, and Christians should be involved in taking a stand against it. But how exactly are Christians to be involved in combating against it? Must we all stand in front of an abortion clinic and protest?

Are there other ways to be involved? What should we think of Christians who are accusing other Christians and other churches of being in sin for not going to an abortion clinic to protest against the murders being committed?

There are many ways to do your part; one is to give to Crisis Pregnancy Centers.

Only if you received a calling from on high to minister to heathens and demons.

There are 9 other commandments that also need to be addressed.

The accusation portion by other Christians is called manipulation, and it too is a sin.

There are many ways to minister God to people, not just through abortion protest, or working in crisis pregnancy centers. Giving financial contributions to crisis pregnancy centers, or even those who do protest, is a huge help, and enormously appreciated, as are helping hands.

Working in active prolife ministry is, in my opinion, a very select calling. Not everyone is cut out for it. And even among prolife workers, most acknowledge that active protest is a very different calling, and not everybody is cut out for that, either.

Go to God, pray, worship him, intercede for the prolife ministry...that’s a huge calling in its3lf. But the point I want to make is Go to your father in heaven, and ask him what he would like you to do for him, how can you help, what is important to him that you might be the ideal person to carry that out.

That’s what you do. He will show you, or he will tell you, or both. Be willing to hear, and do whatever he asks of you.

Gee, I sure hope there were Christian ministers at Nazi Death camps! Heaven knows those poor guards needed ministering. It was sure tough to do their job!

If you have the Holy Spirit, praying and ministering outside a mill is the best way, I think. Miracles have happened.

Miracle 1: A guy went to Confession and told the priest he had helped his girlfriend get an abortion. Instead of giving the guy a bunch of rote prayers to say, the priest said his penance was to minister at an abortion mill.

The next Saturday, he went. He was praying with the others, when one of them pointed out a woman who was just arriving. “That one’s yours,” she said. Oh no, he thought. I don’t know what to say. He tried to get out of it. No, the woman said, don’t worry. We’ll be praying for you.

He walked up to the woman and she immediately burst into tears. When she could speak again, she said, “Last night I prayed that if I was supposed to have this child, that a man would walk up to me the next morning at the clinic.”

He had his first “save,” without even saying a word.

His summary: “I was converted on the spot.” Note that he was a Catholic, yet he speaks of conversion.

Miracle 2: Jewish woman who prays with the other foes of abortion outside a clinic on Saturday mornings sees a car drive up. Man stays inside car, woman goes into abortion mill.

Jewish woman guesses that they are Hispanic. She has a rosary with her this time. She goes up to the car and the guy rolls down his window. She doesn’t ask him whether he wanted the baby, she just says, “Let’s pray the rosary together.” They begin, and he looks up, past her. His girlfriend is walking out of the mill. She says, “I changed my mind.”

They are going to Hell unless the Spirit intervenes. But so far He hasn’t and they are going to Hell.

Simple answer is yes. He who sees to do good, and does not do it, to him it is sin.

I think the pastor's point is that everyone has a different calling.

You're called to spread the Gospel, but that doesn't mean that you're called for this specific purpose.

Muslims are lost-a billion of them-but that does't mean every person is called to be David Wood.

We are all called to stand publicly against the murder of innocent people being slaughtered knowingly and publicly in our very midst.

All one needs to do is to stand quietly in front of the killing center with a sign written in defence of the soon to be murdered innocent babies. If Christians in mass had consistently done this from the start, by the thousands and thousands, as we well should have, abortion would be illegal and likely greatly abhorred by now.

There is no excuse for the only few handfuls of loving people with a heart to care enough to let society in on the fact that abortion is murder and simply cannot go on.

I am sure that this is God’s perfect will for all of us, especially in our free society. We must express His tremendous love for and His desire for the lives of His precious babies still in their mother’s wombs. Many will find this out when we stand before Him with great flowing tears of regret.

This topic is clearly decided in Scripture. I am posting this post again, with supporting Bible verses.

----------------------------------------------------

Proverbs 24:11-12 King James Version (KJV)

11 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; 12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
