The basic reason for the change was that the DEMS/MEDIA knew that red instilled a sense of alarm in viewers while blue instills a sense of calm.

Since their campaign platforms consist of lies and promises that will never be met, they had to use any advantage they could get (or steal).

Dunno why, IIRC the first CBS & NBC News color election maps had the GOP in blue and the DEMs in red. Today, of course, they’re flipped.

Isn't it about time the Democrats, now that they are more and more frequently socialists, should be the red party in order to align with their red brethren in Russia, etc. Changed once incorrectly, it can be changed back and corrected.
