The heat is ON.
How do these people keep clearances when they are out of government? Whose brilliant idea is that?
Well, it was probably THEIR idea. Nice work if you can get it, huh?
It is a courtesy and, if necessary, they may need to be consulted in the future.
But who ould want Comey, Clapper and Brennan’s advice on anything. Not even, does this tie go with this suit?
Apparently it is a "courtesy" and is nothing new. What is new, however, is a previous administration's employees abusing the policy. We sure never heard of GWB's people abusing it once Obama took office (and we definitely would have heard about it if it had happened!). Leave it to Obozo's losers to ruin yet another thing. On the bright side, hopefully the policy will now be done away with once and for all.
There is a nuance that nobody is getting.... Having the clearance just means that the necessary background checks have been made and you are eligible to have access if you have a need to know. Access and need to know on the other hand..... simple directive to the appropriate agencies that they no longer have a need to know and their access is to be terminated should be all that is needed.
And THAT is the real question. These clearances should have been pulled long ago, given who these traitors really are. Would they have been true Americans, I can see a transitional clearance situation, but not these traitors!
Clearances are given to those outside
of government also. Clearances are
considered suspended (still held)
if they’re not being used in an
active roll. They expire every 10
years for clearances secret and above.
There is a set of 13 guidelines that
all agencies adhere to that are reasons
where your clearance my be revoked.
This would be the reason that Rand
Paul is meeting with Trump to discuss.
There has to be a specific reason to
revoke a clearance.
