If you will pay attention, you will notice that Sacha Baron Cohen has fooled a lot of people in positions of authority and power. It is becoming apparent that a lot of these people do not pay attention to what's going on. That causes me some concern. People who are supposed to be leaders making important decisions should be aware of what is going on around them.
It is very interesting that a gun shop owner who is not a person of high authority quickly recognized who he was. It seems to me that people with a solid foundation of values will spot a charlatan like that. Those without values will never see it coming.
Continuous deception is a foundation of liberalism and the Democrat party.

He ran out of another gun store when the owner recognized him pulling an agitprop stunt. He stunned camera crew didn’t leave so quickly, refused to answer questions, and were ordered to get the f-— out.
How queer that the media treats these stunts so differently than the expose videos of Planned Infanticide at Murder Inc.

GMTA - have pondered similar thoughts, especially those most recently trolled with absolutely ridiculous stunts. I’ve seen some posts about the gun store guy who caught on to him should have trolled right back to expose Cohen as a leftist fraud.

I think it’s simply a matter of people expecting to get fooled/played (whatever today’s hip term for it) are looking for it, on higher alert - like the gun shop owner he has people trying to pull tricks often I would guess plus he is dealing with weapons which brings bad people around him often as well as good ones, but decent people and those simply sitting down for an interview or such - they don’t have a quick mindset “it’s a trick”.
No one is watching this guy. No one. According to today’s Daily Telegraph, he pulled in 250,000 viewers. So I’m not surprised that people don’t know who he is whether they are politicians or ordinary folks in America.
Brits mocking Americans is nothing new but what seems to be new is that Americans don’t give a hoot. Perhaps next, he can stage his lousy Allen Funt gags in a muslim country or his own. I’m sure he can find some yahoos there.
Look, I’m not going to trash this guy for running a clean “prank”. I watch people on our side do it too on YouTube all the time.

IMHO all these ‘people’ in ‘positions of authority’ spend EVERY SINGLE DAMN DAY “working” with and alongside people who are JUST AS PHONEY as this “baron” creep.

They adore anything that tears down “ normal” instead substituting their version of “humor” cloaked in a degradation of society....
Allen Funt had good natured fun and if asked would probably tell you that he never intended to publicly expose or humiliate those he pranked with stunts. He seemed more interested in “everyman” cases and different reactions people might have to a situation, warning the audience, laugh now but this could be you!
At the end of each prank he’d have someone drop their guard and reveal the gag and Mr. Funt would come out to gladhand shake hands with the embarassed mark.
I don’t think he sought out to bruise egos.
