Ron Dellums, a Marine turned antiwar activist and ground-breaking Democratic politician, was never one to walk away from a fight, no matter who started it.
Dellums, who died Monday at the age of 82, made that clear during his first run for Congress in 1970, when Republican Vice President Spiro Agnew, speaking for President Richard Nixons White House, pointedly branded the young Berkeley councilman as an out and out radical who needed to be purged from the body politic for his stance against the war in Vietnam and up-front fight against social ills.

He burned out more than a few bulbs in his virtue signal.
I was taught if you can’t say anything nice about someone.... Ill leave it at that.
Should have died in prison.
Living in the SF East Bay, Dellums use to be my congress critter for awhile. Uggggggh. RIP
Radical left-wing icon former California Democratic Rep. Ron Dellums was a hired lobbyist for Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who met with Donald Trump Jr. June 9, 2016, the Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.

I can do it for you...he was filth.
“Ron Dellums, former congressman and Oakland mayor, dies at age 82”
Finally, a tidbit of good news for a change.
Well, he was an out-and-out radical!
"Bringing you the truth... no matter how BAD it hurts."
Thanks SMGFan. Good riddance to the horse's ass who sent a steady stream of invective to undermine our national defense, but when a bunch of superfluous bases were closed in California during post-Vietnam defense budget cuts, he pissed and moaned. POS.
WINNING....................MAGA
After his election as mayor of Oakland, Dellums came under criticism for a wide range of issues, including alleged extended absence from his duties at City Hall
As I recall he did not show up to work too often.
No comment... But it is good news...
“...but when a bunch of superfluous bases were closed in California during post-Vietnam defense budget cuts, he pissed and moaned.”
I recall Nancy Pelosi back in the 90’s complaining about BRAC closing the Presidio in her district. I remember watching her one evening on CSPAN during Special Order as she gave a speech (with visual aids) about how closing the Presidio would be ruinous to her districts and veterans living there.
The same Nancy Pelosi who voted against almost every military-related bill that came her way. First class hypocrite.
His vote will have eternal life.
And she hasn't improved with age.
The thing that REALLY set off Rush against Red Dellums was when he promised to tear the CIA apart piece-by-piece.
Too bad Mr. Dellums didn’t live long enough for Trump to assign him that task, the CIA now needs JUST THAT.
