Okay, I'm the biggest anarcho-capitalist on this board, but this is what happens when capitalism starts producing zombies. The zombies must be put down.
Legions of users subverting the platform can cost them greatly. Maybe a friendly judges or pols can shove something HUGE up their ass.
They have budgets larger than entire nations, and they've basically declared war on us.
Waiting for the first person to make the argument “they’re a private company”... as if the constitution would permit 3 companies to control the entire nations discourse.
Youre seeing the exact same playbook every socialist overthrow of a country has gone through.
Demonization, ostacizarion, individual attacks against power holders (in sure youve heard of a few recently - Papa John, Steve Wynn) all the whole a steady drumbeat of propaganda dividing the people along wit indoctrination in schools (thats how it happened in China and Venezuela)
Weve made the students fearful of freedom and making their own choices (40+ year olds afraid of adulting) then theyve upended social order where men are women and women are men - and at the top are the self-selected elites telling you what to think because only they know the answers. Except nothing ever gets done.
Were ar war people.
That would be a defacto cartel and is illegal in this country.
These are not merely public companies, these are UTILITIES that should be subjected to the same regulation.
1. Stop using their platforms and contributing to their revenues.
2. Cancel your accounts, if you have one, and do so LOUDLY. Make sure they know you’re leaving and make sure their advertisers know you’re leaving.
3. We need to find a way to start our own media.
Maybe we can get FR to add some features? Video? Messenger? Email?
I know my family would pay for these if they were offered through FR.
This is not NOT WHAT OUR CONSTITUTION INTENDED.
Is there a reliable source setting out
the names of the equity owners of the backbone of the internet and,
the names of the corporate entities who control access to the internet, but who are not equity owners.
Theyre not a monopoly - thats one company holding all the cards - but you can bet theyve all colluded together to price fix and share markets along with acting as a unified voice when it comes to DNC concerns.
Were ar war people.
Yes. And the minute our side looks like its winning, therell be net silence. Lonnnnnng web delays, lost mappings, massive DOS attacks, malware explosions, talk radio disruptions, lots of muffling.
Did you label that photo? If so, great job!
I’ve seen it everywhere but having the perps IDed really increases the ‘wow’ factor.
A. Solzheniztyn - Gulag Archepelago.
thanks for the info
I don't condone FB for doing this, BTW.
Here's what you can do.
Think up a nifty website name.
Go to godaddy.com or another host to register.
Hire some programmers.
Create your own social media network.
FR could have been what FB is now, and it still can be.
Stole it from another thread.
It is called the world wide web consortium...or w3c for short...those companies control it all and conspire against all of us for better or for worse.
You don’t have to be a Monopoly to fall under Anti-Trust.
All you need is a controlling interest with no viable competitors.
This is why Intel kept AMD alive.
It kept the Gov from breaking them up.
